The messages we are given about ourselves in childhood are powerful and they can last a lifetime. Sometimes they are positive, supportive and nurturing. Other times they can be harmful or self-limiting and can cause us to question our worth and our abilities. These messages, which eventually turn into our core beliefs can either propel us forward, or they might inhibit us from our true potential.
Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and dive deep within to uncover parts of yourself that might be suppressed by the expectations and conditioning you've received in your early upbringing.
